PacketFabric Achieves Amazon Web Services Networking Competency Status

PACKETFABRIC, THE HIGHLY SCALABLE NETWORK-AS-A-SERVICE PLATFORM, ANNOUNCES TODAY THAT IT HAS ACHIEVED AMAZON WEB SERVICES (AWS) NETWORKING COMPETENCY STATUS.

Culver City, Calif., December 5, 2017 – PacketFabric, the highly scalable network-as-a-service platform and a member of the NantWorks ecosystem of companies, announces today that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Networking Competency status. PacketFabric now offers secure, reliable connectivity to AWS Direct Connect, enabling its customers to reach cloud services provided by AWS from any location on the PacketFabric network.

Achieving the AWS Networking Competency differentiates PacketFabric as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that provides specialized demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success with specific focus on Networking, based on Network Management. To receive the designation, APN Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.

PacketFabric’s agreement with AWS provides added security for connecting to Amazon Web Services. By using PacketFabric’s private network to reach AWS Direct Connect, customers will see improved security and performance, compared to connecting through the public internet.

The cloud on-ramp product offered by PacketFabric allows for cost-effective connectivity to AWS and other cloud service providers. By connecting at any of PacketFabric’s locations, customers can connect to AWS in the following AWS Direct Connect locations:

  • US-East-1: Dallas, New York City, Washington, D.C.
  • US-East-2: Chicago
  • US-West-1: Los Angeles, San Francisco
  • US-West-2: Portland, Seattle
